Special Events
Step into a world of play, laughter, and creativity with this special collaboration with Concert Artists Guild!
In this interactive workshop-performance, audiences help build a story—MadLibs-style—inspired by world-class live chamber music from Concert Artists Guild performers Mitch Lyon (cello), Ariel Horowitz (violin), and Carter Johnson (piano). Your ideas shape a quasi-improvised musical and theatrical adventure that’s as surprising as it is delightful.
The adventure is narrated by special guest Cate Smit, a seasoned actor with film and television credits including Hustlers, Master, Bull, The Onion News Network, and an appearance on Late Night with David Letterman.
Perfect for ages 8 to 98, this experience combines the joy of theater, the thrill of improvisation, and the beauty of live classical music—all in one lively, engaging performance. Be part of the action, spark your imagination, and leave with a smile!
PERFORMANCES AT 3PM AND 6PM ON APRIL 25, 2026 AT SYMPHONY SPACE.
