The Creative Stage Spectacular returns to Symphony Space on February 7th for another year of imaginative sketches, hilarious song parodies, and moments of joy that will stay with you long after the curtain falls!

This year's performance features an all-star lineup, including beloved voice actor and master comedian Jim Conroy—whose award-winning work across Nickelodeon, PBS Kids, Disney, and Netflix has made him a favorite for audiences of all ages. A longtime Creative Stage collaborator, Jim brings his signature blend of warmth, and wit back to our stage once again. 

Jim will be joined by powerhouse singers from the Met Opera Chorus, offering a delightfully reimagined Act I finale from Mozart's opera Così fan Tutte (spoiler alert: chickens may be involved).

Alongside them, a host of phenomenal guest artists, the incomparable CSC troupe and our live Spectacular Band bring to life a dazzling mix of unforgettable characters, stories, and musical moments from Bach to Beyoncé. Join the Creative Stage Collective Youth Troupe and some of our fabulous CSC Adult Professional Artists for two hours of theater, movement, and music games and activities for kids ages 8-16.

There is no cost to join the workshop and there is no limit to how many workshops you can attend.

This program is designed to serve as a fun and enriching workshop. It is NOT an audition. However, attendees who show exceptional interest, talent, and imagination may be invited to join our multi-generational performing troupe for upcoming performances.

Manhattan School for Children

A playful collaboration with Concert Artists Guild, this interactive performance invites the audience to help build a story—MadLibs-style—guided by live classical music. Once the blanks are filled, sit back and enjoy a quasi-improvised theatrical adventure featuring CAG instrumentalists and CSC’s multigenerational improv troupe.

This performance is playful, clever, and engaging for audiences ages 8 to 98.
