PAST EVENTS

MUSICAL MADLIBS

A one-of-a-kind interactive performance in collaboration with Concert Artists Guild, that blended live classical music, improvisational storytelling, and audience participation into a magical, playful experience for all ages.

Stunning performances by Ariel Horowitz (Concert Artists Guild Competition winner whose work has been heard at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center), Mitch Lyon (cellist and Teaching Artist Faculty member with the New York Philharmonic), and Carter Johnson (international prizewinning pianist and finalist in the 2025 Van Cliburn International Competition) ignited spontaneous, playful storytelling that unfolds in real time.

Cate Smit narrated the emerging story as performers from Creative Stage Collective's multigenerational troupe brought it to life.

A celebration of the power of imaginative ideas, audiences were invited to participate, imagine, and co-create—experiencing the thrill of storytelling and music coming together in unexpected and delightful ways.
